Smokvenjak is essentially a fig cake. It used to be known as “farmer’s bread”. Because it is full of energy and vitamins, it would restore the farmer’s strength after a hard day’s work in the field. Smokvenjak is better than any energy bar you might take. It will restore your strength and energy – whether you are working in a field or in Excel.
It is available in 4 varieties: Classic, Lavender, Orange and Almond. Smokvenjaci was known in our region long before energy bars, which are becoming increasingly popular today. Back then, we called them “farmers’ pastries” because they were full of energy and vitamins to give tired hard workers the boost they needed while working in the fields. Adriatic Fig Cake Classic is an authentic fig cake. The characteristic lavender aroma of the Dalmatian islands has inevitably become an important part of the history of Adriatic gastronomy. Lavender is a plant known as the “scent of the Mediterranean”. Adriatic fig cake is a special part of Adriatic history. These are old traditional Croatian cookies made from dried figs. We like to enrich Adriatic figs with a special ingredient (in this case orange) and a few drops of good liqueur

Returns from third countries (non-EU)

Please note the following information when returning, returning or in case of damage from countries outside the EU:

From a customs perspective, you are the exporter of such a return (e.g. due to warranty repair). You are therefore responsible for registering the goods correctly. By registering the return with your local customs office BEFORE shipping to Germany, you can avoid having to pay customs duties/taxes again after the (warranty) repair has been carried out.

Customers from Switzerland can find relevant information on the website of the Federal Customs Administration EZV https://www.ezv.admin.ch/ or by telephone at the Bern Customs Directorate, telephone +41 (0)31 322 65 11, quoting the keywords "passive processing (repair)", "equivalent trade (exchange goods)". We ask customers from other third countries to contact the customs authority responsible for the country.

Please note that we do not cover import duties or other additional import costs.

VAT refund when exporting to a third country

Do you live in Switzerland or another country that is not part of the EU and would like to export the goods you have purchased there yourself? Under certain conditions, we can refund the German VAT you have paid.
